xxx Sunday Love xxx

July 19, 2013

Blessed Sundays bring me much warmth and joy cos it's FAMILY DAY!!!
And if you know me, you'd know there's nothing more important to me than family.

Sunday is mostly the same every week - Church in the morning for mass as always!

This time, something new for lunch instead of dimsum/meepok.
We headed all da way to Paya Lebar for a very famous Charsiew/Duck rice place! Everyone loved it, but it was my first time trying it that day. Even CY tried it already, not with my family, though.

 While waiting for the food....
Picture time!!! Triple date day on Sundays.
My dad always tells me he loves it when we all sit down as a family together to have a meal. He says this is called real love and joy. I guess I take after him in many ways cos this, to me, it is also the same. I am often the one planning all these meals. On weekdays, I'll always try to see if we can get together to eat dinner. Can't be helped, I guess, I'm so close to him!
Anyway. My family is truly a gift I treasure more than life
:)

My parents, pillars of my life!

Food review time - OMGGGGGGGGGGG.
On a scale of 1 to 10, I would rate this a 9.8.
The 0.2 is because some parts of it is really fatty and I hate fatty meat. But the lean meat, coupled with the black sauce and white rice... So awesome.

My dearest armyboy ate 3 plates of rice and a lot of the meat - everyone was super impressed and a lil shocked too!!!!
Not me, though. He is always like that with me cos watching him eat ridiculous amounts of food makes me laugh. I think it's really funny... !!! So he does it to make me laugh. I only knew this fact a long time after we dated, when on one occasion he actually ate so much he puked a lil. LOL!!!!
"B... you know actually I don't wanna eat so much one, but you always laugh so happily when I do, so I force myself to eat even more."
HAHAHHAHAHAHAAH.

Anyway here is the address for the place!

After being super full from lunch, we headed to the old school bakery next door to try this old school bread. It's damn yummy too! Wish I ate less rice so I could eat more bread. I love bread!!!

Outfit of the day, completely in c/o YoungHungryFree. Hehee. I love the owner, W, she sends me stuff she thinks suits me. I don't even have to choose, and she's almost ALWAYS right!

Dinner after that with CY's family at Tampines Mall's Pizza Hut.
Family time again! Just with my second family. Heheee.
Well I gotta admit that I personally prefer the pizza at Peperoni Pizzeria, but I got to say I friggin LOVEEEE these sweet and spicy drumlets. I could eat all 10.

Home after that to nua/watching running man/rest.
The next day, the 15th, was our 26th Monthsary (as I mentioned in an earlier post). I was nagging at CY earlier in the day (NON STOP for like an hour cos I am an annoying girlfriend like that) for always not being romantic all the time. We only go out to dinner and that's about it... so yup I was complaining A LOT especially cos our 25th monthsary was quite sad : me spending it by myself at home since he couldn't book out and him in Tekong.
He told me he had no time at all to plan anything this month and would try his very best to prepare something the next morning but 'don't hope la hor'...

I did notice that CY and his sister were behaving all weird when we were home that night but I didn't really bother cos I was using my laptop and feeling a lil frustrated from the many emails piling up and stuff I had to do.
Then I turned around when it was almost 12am and THIS beautiful bouquet with the giraffe soft toy that we saw at the florist on Saturday was in my face wrapped beautifully with my fav daisies, complete with a lil note!

Hehehhee. I was so happy ~

Turns out he woke up extra early before we went to have lunch with my family to go get this bouquet.
It may not be an extravagant gift and perhaps, you might think it's nothing much, but CY IS THE MOST HECKCARE BF AND UNROMANTIC PERSON EVER. This time I guess it was pretty clear that after all this time, he still listens to the lil things I say I like and he definitely knows how to surprise me and make me smile....

Which is more than enough for me. To many more months/years ahead!
:)
