St. Ives

July 5, 2016

In the past year or so, I've been making some real changes to my lifestyle :
I've started to exercise every alternate day, I've been eating well and taking time out of my busy schedule to live a little.. That's why I enjoyed myself in Taiwan's countryside so much. There was so much nature around!

These changes have also happened in the way I take care of myself, including how I take care of my skin. I still have mad love for all my clinically proven, doctor products, but recently I've been incorporating natural products into my skincare regime because I think it's always good to have balance.

That's why St. Ives products fit into my lifestyle perfectly - It's inexpensive and conveniently available at drugstores/supermarkets, and the best part, made with 100% natural ingredients.

Girls these days don’t want to put harsh chemicals on their face and body, which is why St. Ives is important for every face and body cleansing/care routine.

They have 3 main ‘formats’, scrubs (made with 100% Natural exfoliants), Lotions (made with 100% Natural moisturizers) and Body Wash (made with 100% Natural extracts). What this means for us is that we can rest assured that these are paraben-free, and a perfect natural little perk me up for us who live in the city.

Each product is naturally brightens and nourishes your skin from the outside in.
Apricot- Refreshes your skin- exfoliating and awakening the skin
Oatmeal- Helps soothe your skin naturally
Pink Lemon& Mandarin- helps skin look and feel even and bright
Sea Salt & Kelp- smooths and renews your skin naturally

I really like Oatmeal and Shea and it's the one I'd recommend if I had to pick one - Been using it ever since I got it as I have very dry skin on my legs, after years of shaving and lack of moisturizer : It not only smells amazing, but my skin feels hydrated after use.

St. Ives is available at Guardian, Watsons, Cold Storage, Fair Price and Redmart.

St. Ives is also running an instagram contest :
All you have to do is to share your favorite natural remedy and why it makes you happy! It can be an old family remedy which your Mom or Grandmother shared with you which will benefit us all.
